That is true, Van der Sar was a great keeper tho. Howard is world class dont get me wrong. I think that if he left Everton for a UCL team he wouldnt be a firts choice.
Edwin van der Sar played UCL at 41, Brad Friedel is 40. Howard is not too old, but getting onto a team is a different matter for a Keeper.
